About Us

Optical Lens Design

We have two trained optical designers. Both have advanced degrees in optical design with over 50 years of combined optical design experience in fields from high resolution lithography to FLIR systems. They are especially experienced in zoom systems and laser-based illumination systems for lithography. They've both published extensively and together have more than 30 patents. Both use Code V, the premier lens design program.

Opto-Mechanical Design

Our opto-mechanical engineer and designer built his career solving the problems and issues of precision optical mechanical design. He has created many innovative structures to hold and manipulate complex optics. These systems include space cameras, interferometrically controlled stages and complex projection optics for lithography. His design tools are Solid Works and UGS-NX, and his analysis tools are the pages Algor FEa Mechanical and Thermal. They both let him build models and run finite calculations if necessary.
